  • 1. In a bowl, mix the first 13 ingredients. Shape it into balls as big as a golf ball.
  • 2. Deep the meatballs in hot oil until brown in color. Set it aside.
  • 3. Pour 2 tbsp oil in a pot over medium heat. Saute ginger and leeks until light brown in color. Add sugar, soy sauce and water.
  • 4. Simmer for a minute then add mixture or cornstarch and ¼ cup water to thicken the sauce.
  • 5. Once the sauce has thickened, add the meatballs. Braise the meatballs for 5-8 minutes.
  • 6. Turn off heat and serve hot.
