Air Fried Tuna Inasal

Enjoy Inasal at the convenience of your home. You may use any meat but what makes this recipe extra special is that tuna is lean and fatless. You will enjoy the health benefits of eating tuna without the guilt.
Ingredients
- 500g Ocean Fresh Tuna Cubes
- 1 thumb-sized Ginger, minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 stalk Lemongrass, chopped (white part only)
- 1 pc Chili, chopped
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Sugar
- ¼ cup Sprite
- 2 tbsp Calamansi Juice
- ½ cup Coconut Vinegar
- ¼ cup Palm Oil
- 2 Tbsp Margarine
- 1 tsp Atsuete Seeds
Step-by-Step Directions
- 1. In a bowl, mix ginger, garlic, lemongrass, chili, salt, pepper, sugar, sprite, calamansi juice and coconut vinegar.
- 2. Pour the marinade into the thawed tuna cubes. Chill for 15 minutes.
- 3. Skewer tuna cubes.
- 4. Air fry Tuna Inasal for 5 minutes in an air fryer set at 170C.
- 5. In a small bowl, put vegetable oil, margarine and atsuete seeds. Microwave for 1-2 minutes or until color has turned into bright orange.
- 6. Baste the tuna inasal with the margarine mix then air fry again for additional 5 minutes or until fully cooked.
- 7. Baste the tuna inasal again with margarine mix before serving.
- 8. Serve hot.
